Dinner was provided by Eggers Funeral Home.
Thank you very much to Mr. & Mrs. Eggers

Ronnie Duckett (blue shirt) Johnny Lawter, Connell Scruggs (multicolor shirt)
Don't you know some "tall tales" were being told here!

WW II veteran Wilford Willingham with District Director Jack Wright and District Adjutant Robbie Wells

Shock! Harold Turner (red shirt) is not in his normal "corner" to get to the front of the food line first

Mark Anthony of the Spartanburg Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (tonight's speaker)

WW II veterans Wilford Willingham and Bernard Cantrell

WW II veteran Connell Scruggs

Junior Littlejohn does a huge amount of work for the Post

Post Commander Cliff Jones opens the meeting portion of this evening

Mr. John Eggers of Eggers Funeral Home says a few words to the attendees (we had a lot of guests)

Mr. Eggers introducing Mr. Mark Anthony who made a superb presentation

Mr. Anthony was speaking about the founding of this country -- yes it extends back to Scotland

An early SC flag; the "crescent" on the SC flag is, in fact, NOT a crescent moon as has
frequently been stated; it is a gorget turned on its side ("look it up")

This was an exceptional meeting. We had an excellent meal
provided by Eggers Funeral home and an exceedingly informative
presentation about the flags from early American history by
Mr. Anthony. We cannot offer enough thanks to Mr. Eggers or
Mr. Anthony to show our real appreciation.
